Morgan Le Fay: a couple of hundreds of years earlier, she had tried to get Kaden to go home – at his family’s request, but he believed all dead, and would not respond – so she took his dragyn-ka, necklace/symbol of himself that he would one day give to his chosen dragoness when she meets Tess, she can ‘feel’ Tess is the woman & future dragoness for him so she tasks her with returning the necklace, while informing hunters where he is – pushing him into defending her Ī sweet simple story of two who are a bit lost… (one more than the other)… who feel a connection when first meet… he claims her as his (the dragyn-kp necklace will not come off of her), she feels safe with him… though she takes off when the hunters show up, he tracks her down … and moves in…Īnd they make love – and she feels complete – and he knows the transformation has begun, but does not warn her… he is trying to keep his heart out of it… and after a few weeks when she makes it clear she is not a possession, she has the right to make choices for herself, and shares her dreams of singing, he makes sweet love to her, takes the necklace when she sleeps (thinking that will stop her from changing to dragon), and leaves…īut she is having none of that – and returns to his house, where hunters have been waiting… they take her hostage, he comes in dragon form to rescue her, he is hurt by their arrows… and in anger, she changes to dragons, and stomps them, and burns them… and he wakes up in her arms, in his world (Morgan showed up to open the portal)… ahhhh George: dragon warrior on his world, hunters had attacked (after many of their kind already killed), and he was pulled through a portal to earth, thinking his family was all killed he resolved to not care, to simply hide from the hunters, protecting his horde Tess McGarry: kicked out of house when a teen makes her way through with odd jobs and dream of singing – has been part of various bands that lasted 6 months or so between bands now stops in Morgan La Fay’s shop, and Morgan ‘feels’ her spirit, and matches her to Kaden – giving her a job to return the necklace to him

Again, I thought the action part here ( (view spoiler) ) was a let down.Īt least I got amused by Kaden's enjoying Noodle scene as well as the "cosmic sign" from this book when I read the name "Morgan Le Fay" (I was heavily into Merlin/Arthur fanfic when I read this). Castle didn't write action part very well. I got bored quickly and started skimming.īut on another hand, what I noticed from her Dark Dynasty book, Ms. Big part of it was MY FAULT - I forgot that Nocturne was one of the sensual (read: erotic) stories of Harlequin. Castle's Dark Dynasty Series, this novelette was just MEH read.
Again, I thought the action part here ( (view spoiler) ) was a let down.
But on another hand, what I noticed from her Dark Dynasty book, Ms. I got bored quickly and started skimming.
